Testimonials from participants of the workshop

Through the Redlands Centre for Women, Katrina Beutel, and Helen Harrison, who has the business, Power of Change Counselling & Coaching decided that a workshop called ‘Live Your Best Life’ workshop was something they really wanted to do, not for monetary gain- because the cost is just a token donation, but to offer to help people get the most out of their life they can, enabling beautiful people(and we all are) to embrace habits and hurt from the past (each of us have that, regardless of how ‘blessed’ our lives have been) embrace it, accept it, understand it, then let it go. What I personally love about our lovely Helen, is that she comes from a deeply spiritual place, she doesn’t make any assessments nor suggestions about your particular unique situation based on clinical analysis, she is real, and like us, she laughs, she lives, she makes mistakes, she learns, she cries, and she grows, every day. Anyone wanting that spiritual and emotional ‘Hand Up’, I would highly recommend Helen, as somebody who is real, and not only understands, but has lived it also, thank you Helen, love your work xxxx Janette Colleen

The workshop was fantastic. Cannot believe how much more I understand why I am the way I am. Has given me tools to be the best I can. I have learnt self-talk, journal writing, kindness to myself and have retrained my brain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you’ve changed my life!!! Kate Liker

I have just completed the ‘Live Your Best Life’ workshop with Helen and found the tools she taught me to be very useful. I now think completely different to how I used to. My thoughts are more positive and things don’t bother me the way they used to. Now I am able to live more in the present, enjoy my family and relationships, and am more grateful for what I have in my life. Helen is a great listener whom treats every individual uniquely, offering feedback that is suited to there own situations and circumstances. Through working within a group environment, I was also able to learn from others and feel that I was not ‘alone’. We now all catch up monthly for a coffee and a chat. Thank you Helen, I would highly recommend this course to anyone and everyone. X Kel Robertson

A poem about Live Your Best Life

There is a group of women, who’d never met before
Who gathered on a Tuesday night, their emotions to explore
They came from different walks of life, down many different roads
They came to learn to love themselves, their story to be told
Each nightly session was intense, their feelings opened raw
Their tears flowed oh so freely, like waves upon the shore
They shared some thoughts and feelings dug up from way down deep
Some found it helped to ease their mind so they could soundly sleep
They shared some laughter and quiet chat as they sipped a cup of tea
They found some likeness in what they’d shared and finally started to see
That they weren’t alone in this sadness they felt, there were others just like they
And that sharing their burden helped to ease the load to help them on their way
